We have been learning how to write a moment in time. 
This means using show not tell to describe an experience in great detail.

Why?? Well, it makes for some sensational writing and helps us to focus on using language features to good effect. We know if we've done a good job if the reader can imagine being in the experience with us.

We've used a number of video's of extreme activities to inspire our writing.
